State unemployment at 4.1

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Texas remained stable at 4.1 percent, the same as the September rate, though higher than October 2023 at 3.6, according to the Texas Workforce Commission and U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics U-3 report.

WT Horse Judging Team scores at AQHA World Show

West Texas A&M University’s Horse Judging team placed third overall at a highly competitive annual competition.Additionally, the team earned second-place finishes in both performance and reasons at the American Quarter Horse Association World Show, held Nov. 10 in Oklahoma City.
