From fair competition, the parade, goat roping, Cow Patty Bingo, Cornhole Tournament, to the street dance and numerous other events, the Harvest Days celebration and Castro County Fair was a grand success.The Dimmitt Lions Club organized, judged and provided the winners with prizes.

Texas removes over 1M ineligible voters

Governor Greg Abbott announced that since signing Senate Bill 1 into law in 2021, Texas has removed over one million people from the state’s voter rolls, including people who moved outof- state, are deceased, and are noncitizens.That removal process has been, and will continue to be, ongoing.
