Dear Rusty: I will be turning 70 this coming November. I will begin taking my Social Security benefit at that time. My age 70 SS benefit will be approximately $4,500 per month. My spouse (who is currently 74) began receiving her SS benefits about 10 years ago - before her FRA.

Too many pet owners ignore their pets leaving them to roam, tossing them in the backyard or starving and abusing them.As human beings, we have a responsibility to treat all creatures with kindness and respect. This includes not only our fellow humans but also the animals that share our planet.
Area youngsters’ photography efforts are on display for the month of August 2024 at Rhoads Memorial Library, including Castro County 4-H Spencer Acker, son of Felice and Dwight Acker of Nazareth. Display for the month of August 2024, here at Rhoads Memorial Library contains photos taken by some members of Castro County 4-H. The photos capture the image of items found throughout the county, with subjects ranging from people to inanimate objects to flora and fauna.
