According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, unemployment rates were higher in June in eight states, lower in 1 state, and stable in 41states and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.The national unemployment rate changed little at 4.1 percent but was 0.

DISD Snack Pack 4 Kids will be hosting a Bike-a-thon held on Aug. 1st.Bikers should be in front of Richardson Elementary at 7 p.m. to participate.Entry fee is $5 per rider; all ages are welcome.“Bring your kids and family for a fun time riding or walking,” said Kendra Cantrell.

USDA sets deadline for ERP applications

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the deadline for commodity and specialty crop producers to apply for the Emergency Relief Program (ERP) for 2022 natural disaster losses is Aug. 14. USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) began accepting ERP 2022 applications in October 2023.
