The Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department was presented with a $15,000 check by the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle. Fire Chief Corey Lane and VFD crew accepted the check and provided a tour of the fire station. The donation was made possible with a grant from the M.S. Doss Foundation in Seminole, Texas, which is committed to supporting the needs of public safety agencies and front-line officers and firefighters who place their lives at risk while performing their duties.

Hart Girls Track State Qualifiers – 4x100 meter relay, 1st place, Toree Jo Evans, Adamari Morales, Celena Gonzales and Ta’bree Worsham.
Hart Girls Track State Qualifier – Mia Lopez, Shot Put, 2nd place.
UIL 3A Region 1 – DHS Lily Rodriguez, ninth place in the 200-meter dash; and Daegan Robertson, 14th place in 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.56.
