Swifts gear up for Regional title game

The Nazareth Swifts claimed the Regional Semifinal Championship against the Kress Kangaroos last week in two games, advancing to the Regional finals this Friday. The Swifts shut Kress out 3-0 in Game 1 and 10-0 in Game 2. The semifinals games were played at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.

Suspicious deaths under investigation

The past Saturday morning, the Castro County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 10:30 a.m. from a property owner reporting two bodies found in western Castro County off of FM 1057 and FM 2397 about a half mile east of the Parmer County line.
