Vacant house catches fire

Dimmitt Fire Department was called to the corner of SW 5th and Belsher on Monday morning where a house was engulfed in flames. The house had been vacant since Aug. 29 following a gas leak explosion. Cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

We Salute Sepeda

JC Sepeda (Left), who graduated from Dimmitt High School this past May, recently completed her U.S. Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. She is currently stationed at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls with her eye on the medical field.
