Schools prepare for August return

As the summer clicks off and August nears, students will be enjoying the last few weeks before heading back to school.

Birkenfeld new writer, editor for Paw Prints

Nazareth sophomore Chloe Birkenfeld is the new writer, editor for Paw Prints. Each year a student from Nazareth takes on the responsibility of getting community and school news out to the residents of Nazareth in the online edition that comes out regularly.

Pet Talk

Goats have to be one of the most entertaining farm animals to own. Knowing how to perform the required goat care is the most important first step to take, as you begin keeping goats. All breeds of goats need some sort of hoof care, proper nutrition, treatment for preventing worms, and more.

Library Lines ...

This week marks the sixth week of Summer Reading Club with three weeks remaining (not that we're counting!). Youngsters continuing to read in the program are now able to enter a drawing for grand prizes that will be awarded July 31 here at Rhoads Memorial Library.

Gentleness

I heard a popular old song on the radio today. Sung by Dinah Shore, ‘Dear Hearts and Gentle People’ was published in 1949 with lyrics by Bob Hilliard and music by Sammy Fain. They just don’t make them like that anymore. I thought about gentleness. God is all powerful; yet, He is gentle.
