County approves hazard mitigation plan

The Castro County Commissioners Court on Monday approved the Castro County Mitigation Plan, pending a public meeting and final adoption of the 2025 plan updates.The plan incorporates mitigation actions intended to minimize the impacts of certain natural hazards on local residents.
