Parents urged to update student immunizations

As the beginning of school approaches, it is important to for parents to be aware of vaccine requirements in schools and childcare centers.The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) creates the rules and works with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to ensure they are followed.

Team Texas and Tri-State cowboy Kolton Grimsley, from Nazareth, placed third in the World at the Cinch High School Rodeo National Finals in Wyoming this past week. Kolton is the son of Ty and Shay Grimsley.Team Texas swept the Tie Down Roping event claim- ing first, second and third place.

Hart ISD announces changes for upcoming school year

Hart ISD announced there will be several changes concerning student drop off, lockers and cell phones and the dress code.Elementary students will be dropped off at the cafeteria where breakfast will be served from 7:40 to 8:15 a.m. Students will be counted as tardy if arriving after 8 a.m.
