Texas leads nation in job creation

Gov. Greg Abbott touted Texas as the nation’s leader in annual job creation with a gain of 198,300 nonfarm jobs over the last 12 months, as the state again set new records for the number of Texans working and the size of the Texas labor force based on June data.

Team Texas and Tri-State cowboy Kolton Grimsley, from Nazareth, placed third in the World at the Cinch High School Rodeo National Finals in Wyoming this past week. Kolton is the son of Ty and Shay Grimsley.Team Texas swept the Tie Down Roping event claim- ing first, second and third place.

Hart ISD announces changes for upcoming school year

Hart ISD announced there will be several changes concerning student drop off, lockers and cell phones and the dress code.Elementary students will be dropped off at the cafeteria where breakfast will be served from 7:40 to 8:15 a.m. Students will be counted as tardy if arriving after 8 a.m.
