We would be remiss here at Rhoads Memorial Library if we did not mention the passing of Marie Howell on May 24, 2025, at the age of 86. She worked in our facility for 39 years during which time she served as library director from 1999 through September 2012.

Food Producers Field Day set for July 23

Ogallala Commons (OC) is collaborating with the Texas A& M AgriLife Extension Service in Swisher County to conduct a Local Food Producers Field Day on July 23. The field day is presented by Ogallala Commons with grant support from the Amarillo Area Foundation.
