Castro County 4th and 5th graders participated in a mock trial in April. Castro County Sheriff Sal Rivera, along with Castro County officials Mandy Gfeller, Shalyn Hamlin, Veronica Pacheco, Mary Ewing, Kristina Holcomb, Priscilla Peralta, Kacy Quinton, and Amanda Fisher helped bring The Three Little Pigs vs. The Big Bad Wolf to life. After hearing the case, the student jury delivered a verdict of not guilty on all charges.
