Students at Hart High School celebrated their prom which included the crowning of Prom King Dominic Dominguez and Queen Brizeth Soltero.
Dimmitt High School Golf Teams competed at the District tournament on March 31 at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Lubbock. The girls team placed third and the boys team placed sixth.
DHS golfers Alexis Quiroz and Bray Chavira District medalists will advance to the Regional tournament.
Western Circle Drive got a new coat of asphalt, with road construction that began on March 13. Bermea Construction was in charge of the project and some streets going into the area were closed off for a couple of weeks. Richard Bermea said he thanked the residents for having such patience and adhering to the road closures and inconveniences which affected school traffic.
