Governor Greg Abbott announced the launch of an online interactive map by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) that pinpoints where Texans can acquire for free or purchase life-saving Naloxone (NARCAN) as part of the statewide “One Pill Kills” campaign.

State reports $3.68B sales tax revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.68 billion in March, 2.7 percent less than in March 2024. The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.

DPS announces changes to CDL medical certification

Beginning on June 23, medical certificates for commercial driver license (CDL) holders and commercial learner permit (CLP) holders must be submitted by a physician directly into the national registry.
