Stanton gave young people learning lessons in academia and life
IN YOUNGER YEARS—This classic picture from the southeast corner of what was Hereford High School in 1926 and would in latter years become Stanton Junior High. On the east side, mid-building of the second floor, was the location of Carolyn Waters’ History classroom during the Stanton Junior High years.
CLASSROOM ON THE EAST SIDE--During her tenure as a History teacher at Stanton Junior High Carolyn Waters taught mostly seventh grade and a couple of eighth grade sections on the east side of the second floor, in full outthe- window view of the culinary goodies proffered at the Dairy Queen across the way.
