Local girl Lori Urbanczyk Johnson makes good as new FSA Executive Director

It’s a new office to work out of and a new County Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency for local farmers to toil with in the person of Lori Johnson, a local girl who has made good in the USDA.Mrs.

With just enough members present to conduct business, the Hereford Economic Development Corporation board passed on a proposal by Taylor McAlpine of Leading Edge, discussed a land offer, and heard a report from their executive director during a regular meeting March 4 at the Hereford Civic Center...
Eight of Hereford FFA students gained advocacy skills at Texas FFA Day at the Capital in Austin. The group also worked at the animal shelter the same week, and focused on the FFA Code of Ethics and plenty of content learning in our classrooms. Hereford FFA students are living out the FFA Motto: Learning to do, Doing to learn, Earning to live, Living to serve.

City opts for $59 million mechanical wastewater treatment plant

In what could prove an historic move in the realm of water and recyclable water policy, a two-member short Hereford City Commission authorized City Manager Ryan Polster to pursue a $59 million mechanical wastewater treatment facility for Hereford.
