Whether or not the Lady Herd makes it to the volleyball playoffs will be decided today with two big district matches taking place on the last day of the season. Hereford is at home against district power Randall, who is in a three-way tie with West Plains and Canyon for the district title.

The Mighty Maroon Marching band is one of 25 schools competing today in Abilene at Shotwell Stadium for a chance to go to the UIL State Marching Band Championships. Only five bands will advance to the competition held Nov. 2-4 in San Antonio at the Alamodome. Good luck Mighty Maroon! (BRAND photos)

The Hereford Whitefaces welcomed the Randall Raiders to town last Friday night for their second game in district play. The Whitefaces were looking to move to 2-0 in district and get the taste of a disappointing pre-district schedule.
