While it may not literally have been raining ducks, geese, and sandhill cranes across the Panhandle and South Plains in the past week, it certainly was doing so figuratively.

HERD TENNIS TOPS WEST PLAINS FOR THIRD PLACE

The Hereford Lady Whitefaces rallied from an early setback to defeat Borger 3-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 29.Borger took the opening set 25-21, but Hereford responded by winning the next three sets. The Whitefaces took Set 2, 25-14, followed by a dominant 25-8 victory in Set 3.
