Dear Editor:Recently Amarillo’s Channel 10 and Channel 7 News made a report on the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. The decision referred to then Municipal Court Judge Jennifer Eggen, who worked for the city of Hereford for many years.

Mary Resch Fowler planted idea that blossomed into Festival of Trees

A former employee planted an idea that blossomed into a traditional holiday launching event locally. Given the mainstay annual fund raiser that the Festival of Trees has become for the Hereford Senior Citizens Center, you would doubt that there were ever any misgivings about performing the project.

The Tree Auction at the 35th Hereford Senior Citizens Association Festival of Trees took in $119,750 according to preliminary figures supplied by Vanessa Nava, HSCA executive director.
