Dispute over THC erupts between Abbott, Patrick

In an eleventh-hour move, Gov. Greg Abbott on Sunday vetoed a contentious state ban on THC products and shortly after called a special legislative session asking lawmakers to instead strictly regulate the substance.

Governor Greg Abbott reported the final list of 1,155 bills signed into law and 26 bills vetoed from the 89th Regular Legislative session and a special session which will begin on July 21 with an initial list of agenda items.
