This letter is in response to the letter in November 15th issue by Ms. Mona Hernandez regarding property taxes and the VATRE. As a homeowner and employee of Hereford ISD, I implore citizens like Ms. Hernandez to please educate themselves on the purpose of the taxes that we all pay.
