Joseph Rodriguez is being recognized as Whiteface of the Week after earning a spot in the Texas All-State Choir, placing 6th Chair at the Area level. This is a huge accomplishment and the first time in 56 years a student from any Hereford choir program has reached All-State.

La Madre Mia Study Club meets, hosts Carlson

La Madre Mia Study Club met in Cafe Yahweh at the First Baptist Church in Hereford, with Kristen Hicks and Sharon Hodges co-hosting for the January 8 meeting. The club was treated to WTAMU Junior Emily Carlson sharing her story of traveling to Romania and Greece during the summer for a mission trip.

Big Cat Makes a Panhandle Area Splash

So when you think about Mountain Lions, you think about mountains, and not necessarily the prairie. But the landscape in this part of the Panhandle is pretty rugged, after all, and supports a great deal of wildlife. Just ask any of the out-of-town hunters we see every season.

Angelo State University Announces Fall 2025 Graduates

Angelo State University conferred 652 undergraduate and graduate degrees on 644 graduates, including Malissa Stimson of Hereford, TX, during the 2025 fall commencement exercises on December 12, 2025, at the ASU Junell Center/Stephens Arena in San Angelo, Texas.
