Deaf Smith County Sheriff’s Dept. January 28 Brandon Allen Gonzales was arrested for duty on striking unattended vehicle.Pricillia Ann Gaytan was arrested for theft over $100, under $750. January 29 Alfredo Iii Rincon was arrested for theft of property over or equal to $750, less than $2,500.

Chamber of Commerce holds annual banquet

A packed house enjoyed the annual Deaf Smith County Chamber of Commerce banquet Saturday, Jan. 31 at Hilltop Event Center.A ribeye steak dinner was provided to attendees with entertainment by J’s Dueling Pianos. It was the second time the dueling pianos group performed at the banquet.
