Despite good rains, pheasant numbers are up only slightly

Thanks to wonderful rains from spring into summer, there were far more pheasants to be seen locally this summer and fall, particularly at hangouts around feedyards and around cover bordering good feed.

HUNTER BREAKFAST THIS MORNING

The 28th annual Pheasant Hunters and Community Breakfast is today, December 6 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the First Methodist Church at 501 North Main. The hall is across the alley on the west side of the church building.
