DISD has an approved a contract for construction/renovation for the ball parks which will make a sports complex for baseball, softball and tennis.
The Dimmitt ISD school board approved a $2.9 million contract with Hellas Construction Inc. last Thursday for a new sports complex.
The facility and ball fields have been a state of disrepair for several years and this will offer DISD athletes and vast improvement over the current situation, as well as family and fans.
