FEMA accused of mismanaging hurricane relief funds
Dimmitt High School freshman and/sophomore health science students attended the Free Academic Advantage Event hosted by Amarillo Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Students listened to a panel of medical and academic professionals, explored volunteer organizations and colleges, and had the opportunity to meet professional basketball player Michael Cobbins.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has accused the Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) of spending $59 million last week to house illegal immigrants in a luxury hotel in New York City in violation of the law.
According to Elon Musk, head of DOGE, his team discovered the agency’s illegal spending and will demand the agency return the funds, calling it insubordination.
