Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said Monday sales tax revenue totaled $2.72 billion in October, 3.5 percent less than in October 2019.
Total net payments this period were $46,631,230.09, less than October 2019 at $48,987,600.73, a negative 4.81 percent change.
Total payments for the year, thus far, are -1.30 percent less than last year at the same time.
