We are in the middle of registration here at Rhoads Memorial Library for our annual Summer Reading Program. Set to be conducted June 2 through July 24, 2026, the program is geared toward Castro County youngsters from toddlers (parents can read to them) through age 17.

Early voting underway for primary runoff

Local voters are encouraged to once again head to the polls to cast votes in Republican or Democratic Primary Elections.Early voting is underway and ends Friday. Voters may cast ballots at the Castro County Courthouse during regular business hours. Election Day is Tuesday, May 26.
