Long–range plan hopefully aligns Hereford’s water future
REPAIRS A PRIORITY--The newly-repaired 'HERD' water tower between Northwest and Aspen symbolizes the high priority that repair and refurbishing of city water storage facilities has been given under the leadership of City Manager Ryan Polster. City commissioners approved and adopted a long-range water supply plan at a Special Meeting August 27 at City Hall, marking a new chapter in Hereford's water situation. Hereford is credited for being proactive on water.
With modeling of current supplies indicating the existing well field will only remain viable into the late 2030s city leaders marked a long-thirsted after accomplishment for Hereford with the city commission approving and adopting a long-range water supply plan at a Special Meeting August 27 at City Hall.
