Leta Dennis helped located photos of a Chevy Corvette delivered to Dimmitt Motor Co in early 1967 and sold to Robert McLean. Years later, it would end up in Pennsylvania and restored by Duane Gomish (pictured on right).

Castro County Museum has few days that pass without an unusual encounter of one kind or another, according to Leta Dennis.
Dennis said she never knows when to answer that “unknown caller” phone call or to whom she will be speaking or what request for information she is about to hear. Such was the case on a Sunday afternoon in October when her caller ID showed a Pennsylvania number.
