The 6666 Ranch keeps fulltime cowboys tending to the thousands of livestock located at the three ranches. The ranch over the past 150 years has produced some of the finest horses and cattle in the country.
After 150 years under the ownership of the Burnett family, the three properties of the 6666 Ranch are up for sale, according to a Lubbock brokerage firm.
Sam Middleton, the broker handling the sale, said Tuesday the ranch is being sold in accordance with the will of Anne Burnett Marion, the owner who died in February of 2020.
