TxDOT continues to work on completion of the highway project that has lasted around three years in Dimmitt, with hopes of being complete in June, and minor details completed by August. Crews were laying asphalt last week near the square and will continue this week.
Work on a $1.92 million Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) project to restripe various roadways in the Lubbock District is under way. The Lubbock District includes Castro County.
Contractor Centerline Technologies, LLC, from Odessa, began work along FM 145 and FM 1731 in Parmer County, on Friday. Weather permitting, work will continue on roadways in Castro, Swisher and Floyd counties.
