The preseason media poll for the Big 12 is out and the Texas Tech Red Raiders were picked to finish in fourth place this season in the new-look 14team league. The Raiders received four first-place votes.
The preseason nod is the highest since the Big 12 moved to a division-less format in 2011.
Last season, they were ranked to finish next to last in the 10-team league.
