TASFA aid application deadline extended

  • Hart Junior High Cross Country runners finished their season with great success. The girls team finished second in district. Team members are Lexi Cisneros, MIa Longoria, Savannah Corrales, Mairany Florentino, Sadie Carrasco, Janeth Morales, and Camila Perez. Individual medalists for the girls were Lexi Cisneros, 3rd Place; Mia Longoria, 6th Place, and Mairany Florentino, 7th place. Coaches for the XC teams are Cailin Neudorf and Corie Longoria.

    The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has extended the state financial aid application priority deadline to Feb. 15 for the 20252026 application cycle due to delays with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).The standard annual deadline is Jan. 15 and future aid cycles will revert to this date.
