Luvette Jones, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024. She was born on Oct. 2, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, to W.W. and Ferne (James) Jones.
Luvette enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook and the company of Roxie, the fur baby.
Luvette is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harry Jones; and one sister-in-law, Deba Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelley (Homer) Guilliams of Forney, Texas and Trina Johnson of Amarillo, Texas; one sister-inlaw, Celeste Schilling of Friona, Texas; five grandchildren, Adam Mendez of Forney, Spenser (Haydee) Guilliams of Henderson, Texas, Erin (Michael) Graviett of Forney, Dusty Kay of Ringling, Oklahoma, and Krysta Johnson of Lubbock, Texas.; and four great-grandchildren, Peyton and Reese Graviet, and Braxton and Dakota Guilliams.
There will be no service for Luvette as she chose to donate her body to science so that others may survive cancer. She will be cremated.
