Milas Lynn Cline Jr., 70 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, in Lubbock. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with local arrangements being under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.

Milas Cline was born in Plainview, Texas on Nov. 23, 1951, to Milas “Dub” Cline Sr. and Nanna Lou (Smith) Cline.

Mr. Cline grew up in Dimmitt and graduated from Dimmitt High School. Milas married Sharon Sue Blackburn in July 1971, the love of his life and best friend. He worked at the Cargill Plant for many years as an Instrument Technician. Milas will be remembered as a great storyteller with a big personality who loved to laugh and loved nothing better than to mingle with friends and family.

Survivors include a daughter, Poppy Michelle of Jal, New Mexico; a son, Adam of Clarendon, Texas; grandchildren, Michael and wife, Alicia, Brendon, and Austin of Jal, Kris and Jordan of Amarillo; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents; and his two brothers, Virgil and John.
