Rials

Lynette Rials, 74 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away from this earth and entered her heavenly gates on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, in Arlington, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt with Dr. Jonathan Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sheila Lynette (Gayle) Rials was born on Aug. 12, 1947, in Stephenville, Texas to Elzie Gayle and Bettye (Matthews) Gayle. Lynette married J.R. Rials on Sept. 3, 1966, and they were married for 55 years. Lynette was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt who was always studying her bible and speaking to people about salvation. She was an avid reader while also enjoying tole painting. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 55 years, J.R. Rials of Dimmitt,;oldest daughter, Darla Rosebrook and husband Randy of Mansfield, and youngest daughter, Karen L. Martin, and her husband Billy of Dimmitt,; five grandchildren, Kailyn Rosebrook, Michael Luse and his wife Kyla, (her children, Riley and Aubrey Keen), Jacob Rials and his fiancé Lisa, Chris Martin, and Mary Martin; and one brother, Daine Gayle.

Lynette is preceded in death by her parents, Elzie, and Bettye Gayle.
