Chesney Farris, 12 from Nazareth, recently entered the 2024 Last Minute Leather Shootout and won second place in the Youth division. There were more than 180 entries in the contest that spanned Beginner Un-Tooled, Advanced Un-Tooled, Beginner Tooling, Advanced Tooling, and Youth Divisions. Chesney has been working with leather since May 2023 and has her own business – Chesney Sage Leather. She will have entries in the upcoming Castro County Fair.
