Swiftettes score 26th state title

The Nazareth Swiftettes tallied up the 26th state championship for team, beating the Saltillo Lady Lions 53-31 at the Alamodome in San Antonio this past Thursday.
The Swiftettes now have a national and UIL record for state trips and championships. This year’s trip marks 32 trips to state since 1977 and the 26th state championship, with eight state titles in the last 12 years.
