Dimmitt High School HOSA members competed at the Area Conference held in Amarillo at the Amtech Academy. Placing were Henry Ramirez, 7th place, Health Career Photography; Celeste Moya, Tania Hernandez, Martin Rodriguez, 1st place, Sports Medicine; Jasmine Nunez, 1st place Medical Arts Poster; Renae Chavez, Kenzie Phan-Dezirae Davila-Kheyla Castaneda, 3rd place, Health Education; and Kaylie Furr, 2nd, Nurse Assisting.

The Nazareth Swifts dominated the Happy Cowboys on Tuesday night, 66-36. The Swift moved out ahead in the first quarter, 13-6 and drove their lead further in the second quarter, to close the first half out 30-13.
