Providing a safe, loving home for a dog is rewarding for many reasons, and it can sometimes be even more so for a canine companion with special needs.
Swisher County Employees and their Families have been participating in the Walk Across Texas Challenge over the past eight weeks. The members of the four teams walked 5204.74 miles which is more than six times across Texas! Individual team total were All Rise! Yeast Beast – 1437.48, Extension of Greatness – 1432.65, Justice Team – 1298.94, and Clerkie Bees – 1034.67. Congratulations to the All Rise! Yeast Beasts team for being the 2026 Champions!
