The 2026 Swisher County 4-H Fashion Show and Photography Contest Awards program was held on April 7 at the Mid Tule Village Activity Room.Lynnlea Johnson served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.

Community Input Requested for Hazard Mitigation Planning

Members of the governing organizations of Swisher County met with Panhandle Regional Planning Commission to discuss hazard mitigation. The last hazard mitigation plan for the county expired in 2018. Changes that have occurred since that time were discussed.

Tulia ISD announces the Tulia ISD Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Tulia ISD announces the Tulia ISD Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The Hall of Fame recognizes alumni, faculty, and staff who have demonstrated notable accomplishments or provided significant contributions to their school, community, or society.

Kress OAP competed at Area Tuesday and placed as alternate to Regionals. They brought home Individual Area Awards: Best Stage Manager - Cortney Stidham, All-Star Cast - Ella Golden, and Honorable Mention - Lilly Wilson.

The Track and Field teams competed at the District Meet last Thursday and Friday and delivered several outstanding performances!The boys’ relay teams accomplished something that hasn’t been done in at least 20 years — advancing all three relays!
