Six Tulia Powerlifters Qualify for Regionals

Tulia Hornet Powerlifting has three girls and three boys headed to Regionals.The Girls will compete at Reagan County High School on March 7th. The Boys will compete at Post High School on March 12th.The Regional Qualifying girls are Jerriah Brookins, Natalie Salinas, and Abreigh Rodriguez.

Tulia Golf

Tulia High School Golf was in Muleshoe on February 23rd and24th. The girls played on February 23rd and Kloe Chasco placed 2nd individually.The boys’ tournament was on February 24th. As a team the boys finished in 4th place.

Tulia Hornet Baseball

The Tulia Hornets played in the Levelland Line Drive Classic this past weekend. The Hornets come home with 2 wins and 2 losses from the tournament. David Abeyta hit a homerune in the game against the Lobos.

Kress FCCLA competes in Abilene

Kress FCCLA competed Friday, February 27 in Abilene at the Region 1 Competitions.Yasmine Marshall earned Silver medal and Jessica Wilson earned a Gold Medal in the Job Interview FCSA (Family and Consumer Science Assessment).Cheyenne Mote competed in the Career Investigation level 1 event.
