TULIA JUNIOR HIGH ARTS

Tulia Junior High Art Class had a guest speaker on Monday, November 17th. Jeannett Herring from Jeannet’s Art and Design talked to the students about the types of paints, canvases and tool that can be used for painting.Jeannett showed the students different types of paints and how to apply them.
Debbi Criswell introduced her grandsons to Progressive Study Club. Kellan Criswell gave his poetry reading, one of 9 events he will be entered in district contest as a 6th grader. Ky Criswell gave his poetry reading that he will be representing 4th grade at district. Koen Criswell is an alternate for his twin brother.

CANYON, Texas — Six West Texas A&M University seniors will choreograph solo and group works for an upcoming WT Dance showcase performance.“Falling into Dance” concerts will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 to 22 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 23 in the Happy State Bank Studio Theatre in the Sybil B.

Swisher County Archives and Museum Association announces its Annual Silent Auction on Saturday, December 6, 2025.Donated auction items of any kind are greatly appreciated. Auction items can be dropped off at the museum prior to December 1st.

Tulia 34th Annual Veterans Day Program

Tulia ISD honored veterans at the 34th Annual Veterans Day Program on November 11, 2025. Luke Moore and Elijah Lopez welcomed everyone to the program. The Pledge to the American and Texas Flag was led by Jose Verdugo followed by the National Anthem played by the Tulia High School Band.

Kress Elementary School hosted a Veterans Day program for the community to honor the Veterans on November 11th. Breakfast for the Veterans was at 8:00AM in the High School Library. The program was in the Auditorium at 9:00AM.
