The Members of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Tulia celebrated two anniversaries in mid September. The parish was established 65 years ago in 1960. In 1976 the current church building, Church of the Holy Spirit, was completed.In 1951 St.

This past weekend was filled with a lot of activity. I really had a great time all weekend. I spent the time with my sister. We started off by attending the TRTA fall conference in Amarillo. The speakers were quite informative. Then, we left early Friday morning to go to Dallas.

Swisher County Farm Bureau hosted their annual County Convention on Thursday, October 16th at the Senior Citizen’s Building in Tulia. Farm Bureau members in attendance were treated to a delicious chicken fried steak meal and door prizes.

The Tulia Lady Hornets had Teacher Recognition before their game against Idalou on Saturday. Each of the varsity players recognized a teacher or coach that had an impact on their life.
