Warden Brown Addressed Tulia City Council

On October 14,2025 Tulia City Council held a regularly scheduled Council meeting in the Council Chambers of City Hall. No public comments were heard. The consent agenda was approved with corrections.

We are currently going into our third week of a government shutdown and we have been subjected to news conferences on both sides of the aisle pointing fingers as to who is to blame. I am old enough to remember when the nightly news reported information that was to inform the nation.

The past couple weeks I’ve been busy ones for me. I was in Dallas for a while. While there, Jonna, Lillian and I attended a Cain concert. It was very good. The opening entertainers were also great. Two of Lillian’s friends went with us also. All of the girls had a great time.
Swisher County Ministerial Alliance presented the TDCJ Mechlar Unit with a Gift of Love to help with Christmas gifts for the residents. Bryan Adams and Monica Brown from the Mechlar Unit accept the donation from Noe Gonzales from the Swisher County Ministerial Alliance.
