Swisher County Museum hosts Mike Hanna

The Swisher County Museum hosted Mike Hanna and his Indian artifacts at the Swisher County Museum from 2:00-4:00 Picnic afternoon.Mike Hanna collects artifacts of the Plains Indians and the Texas Panhandle. His collection includes weapons and tools used by the natives of the local area.

Swisher County 136th Picnic Celebration

The Tulia Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Kiddie Parade for the 136th Swisher County Picnic Celebration on Saturday morning. The Kiddie Parade lined up at 9:00AM beside City Church. The parade started at 9:30AM.

Shaleigh Long honored with Bridal Shower

Shaleigh Long, bride-elect of Caleb Mc-Dowell, was honored with a bridal shower June 20 at the First Presbyterian Church.A brunch consisting of breakfast casserole, sausage balls, muffins, cookies and fruit trays were served to friends and relatives.
