A baby shower was held honoring Little Miss Carsyn Sheffy and parents- to-be Sid and Randi Sheffy of Dimmitt in the beautiful home of Kenda Cantrell and daughter, Jacee on Feb. 10 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The dining table was simply and elegantly appointed with an arrangement ofpink roses and snapdragon flowersin a crystal vase on a gold and cream tablecloth. A white wooden sign that stated, “Of all the things my hands have held, the best by far is You” was placed on the table with white wooden block letters that spelled “Carsyn”. Crystal serving dishes were used to serve fresh strawberries, grapes, pink thumb print cookies, sausage balls, mini quiche, and sugar cookies. Pink girl punch made from raspberry sherbert, ginger ale, and white cranberry juice was served from a crystal punch bowl.
There were 28 hostesses from Dimmitt and the surrounding area who helped with the celebration. The hostesses presented the couple with a Graco “Pack ‘n Play”.
Honored guests present for the celebration included grandparents, Shawn Sheffy and Sherri Roberson; and greatgrandmother ,Cathy Jackson. Meagan Hunton, sister of Randi, and sister- in-law ,Chelsea Sheffy were among the honored guests. Aunts who were present to share in the excitement included Stacie Hardage, Sharla Knippa, Tonya Ritchie, and Rebecca Roberson.
Other special guests included Rachel Thomas, Blakleigh Thomas, Hannah Roberson, Stacie Armes, Carley Hunt, Ashley Edlin, Kamri Knippa, Addison Edlin, Eleanor Edlin, Emerson Sheffy, Zoey Hunton, Ariel Welch, Tanoah Dismore, and Karleigh Porterfield.
Sid and Randi are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Carsyn on April 3, 2024.
