CASTRO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE Persons Arrested & Booked into Jail

Jan. 25

Elias Anthony Martinez, 20 of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over 1 gram-under 4 grams.

Jan. 27

Jimmy Alexander Andrade Aceves, 20 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram.

Jan. 28

Michael Brandon Chavez, 24 of Muleshoe, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction.

Juan Castillo, 50 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Public Intoxication.

Jan. 29

Wyette Edward Maynard, 48 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Burglary of a Building.

Jan. 30

Lydia Gonzales Reyes, 43 of Amarillo, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Parole Violation warrant.

Isidro Huerta Rodriguez, 28 of Hereford, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 under 1 gram.

Feb. 5

Julissa Guerrero, 22 of Olton, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over 4 grams-under 400 grams.

Feb. 6

Raul Saenz-Guerrero, 36 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for DWI.

Feb. 9

Leroy Bobby Neal, 19 of Lubbock, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Driver’s License.

Feb. 12

Jesus G. Moreno, 25 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for DWI 2nd Offense.

Feb. 13

Havan Malik Rodriguez, 21 of Hereford, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon.

Feb. 14

Michelle Monique Pedroza, 37 of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for DWI 1st Offense.

CASTRO COUNTY COURT Carroll Gerber, presiding judge

Judgments for Jan. 26:

Jose Perez Rivas, 52 of Houston, pleaded guilty to the offense of Driving While License Invalid. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $305 court costs, and $50 Crime Line Fee.

Oscar Reyes, 18 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass of a Habitation. His plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on eighteen (18) months of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $500 fine, $305 court costs, and $50 Crime Line Fee.

Lucedo Escalona, 21 of Littlefield, pleaded guilty to the offense of Driving While Intoxicated. His plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on one (1) year of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $500 fine, $405 court costs, and $50 Crime Line Fee.

Judgments for Feb. 9:

Linda Rodriguez, 22 of Plainview, pleaded guilty to the charge of Driving While Intoxicated. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $405 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, and was ordered by the court to donate $100 in food to the Helping Hands Ministry.

Raul Saenz Guerrero, 36 of Dimmitt, pleaded true to violations of his probation on the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve sixty (60) days in jail plus fines and court costs.

Alvaro Garcia, 22 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the charge of Terroristic Threat Family Member or Household. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail and $285 court costs.

64th DISTRICT COURT Danah Ziropoli, presiding judge

Judgments for Feb. 10:

Frank Ramirez Jr., 38 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the offense of Evading Arrest or Detention causing Serious Bodily Injury. He was sentenced to five (5) years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division plus fines and court costs.

Steven Ricketts, 27 of Slaton, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram. He was sentenced to three (3) years of probation plus fines, court costs and Crime Line Fee of $50.
