God has adopted us as His children. We are family.

Do lyrics of a 1970’s hit song come to mind?

Topping out at #2 on American charts Sister Sledge’s; ‘We Are Family’ was released in 1979. It reached gold status as listeners sang along. Lyrics spoke of a close relationship between sisters.

I have both brothers and sisters in Christ.

Am I a sister that offers succourer to many? Phoebe was!

Succour? What is that? Encarta Dictionary: English (North America): ‘to provide help or relief to somebody or something in a difficult or unpleasant situation.’

All people experience difficult situations; we don’t have to muddle through. We are family.
